Shire Suhul Hospital Tigray, Ethiopia
The conflict in Ethiopia that began in late 2020, has had a devastating impact on millions of people. The conflict has severely disrupted access to essential services and humanitarian aid, causing a critical shortage of food, clean water, and medical supplies.
Hospitals and other infrastructure were targeted and vandalized, further exacerbating the humanitarian crisis. During the conflict restrictions on access made it extremely challenging for humanitarian organizations to provide necessary support and aid to those in need.
Even with the formal end of active conflict, the aftermath of the crisis has left deep scars. The destruction of hospitals and critical infrastructure has had long-lasting effects on the ability to deliver healthcare and other essential services.
Our Project CURE container filled with critical medical aid valued at $450,000 USD made it's way to Shire Suhul Hospital in Tigray, Ethiopia in August 2024. This accomplishment represents a major milestone, made achievable solely through the support of our partners and the generosity of our donors.
